What is the best brand for a laptop?

I have planned to buy my laptop sooner or later, but I am sure my head dizzy choose the best brand. I know my specifications. I want the kind of first level, you know, faster, more memory, has all the features I need. I work for a subcontracting company, write blogs and content of the site. I like watching movies, opening all the same kinds of social networks and sites that mark (delicious, Friendster, Squidoo, etc), likes to download music and movies (legally, of course) and burn discs, watch movies online and other things to do. Can anyone recommend the best brand for a laptop? Thanks ….

I prefer HP, Acer and Asus, but are also good. Dell is the second worst. The absolute "is a Mac they are too expensive trash pushed into a box-shaped computer. Avoid Macs all costs. Even if you get one for free, sell on eBay (if someone buys it) and then buy a good laptop with Windows.
